چکیده
Abstract. The Malaysian government implemented the Movement Control Order (MCO) from March 18 to May 13, 2020, in an effort curb coronavirus disease outbreak that had spread throughout nation. Utilizing data GOSAT, GOSAT-2, OCO-2, OCO-3, and TROPOMI, total column-averaged dry-air mole fraction of carbon dioxide methane (referred as XCO2 XCH4) is employed examine patterns both gases MCO well same period prior following year. Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation method utilized mapping XCH4 for industrial areas Peninsular Malaysia. results revealed even implemented, are increasing year by By using satellites data, large can be monitored continuously.

Comparison of Satellite-Observed XCO2 from GOSAT, OCO-2, and Ground-Based TCCON
CO2 is one of the most important greenhouse gases. Its concentration and distribution in the atmosphere have always been important in studying the carbon cycle and the greenhouse effect. This study is the first to validate the XCO2 of satellite observations with total carbon column observing network (TCCON) data and to compare the global XCO2 distribution for the passive satellites Orbiting Car...
متن کاملThe Cross-Calibration of Spectral Radiances and Cross-Validation of CO2 Estimates from GOSAT and OCO-2
The Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite (GOSAT) launched in January 2009 has provided radiance spectra with a Fourier Transform Spectrometer for more than eight years. The Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2 (OCO-2) launched in July 2014, collects radiance spectra using an imaging grating spectrometer. Both sensors observe sunlight reflected from Earth’s surface and retrieve atmospheric carbon dioxi...
متن کاملSensitivity analysis of polarimetric O2 A-band spectra for potential cloud retrievals using OCO-2/GOSAT measurements
Clouds play a crucial role in Earth’s radiative budget, yet their climate feedbacks are poorly understood. The advent of space-borne high resolution spectrometers probing the O2 A band, like GOSAT and OCO-2, could make it possible to simultaneously retrieve vertically resolved cloud parameters that play a vital role in Earth’s radiative budget, thereby allowing a reduction of the corresponding ...

متن کاملAssessment of Global Carbon Dioxide Concentration Using MODIS and GOSAT Data
Carbon dioxide (CO(2)) is the most important greenhouse gas (GHG) in the atmosphere and is the greatest contributor to global warming. CO(2) concentration data are usually obtained from ground observation stations or from a small number of satellites. Because of the limited number of observations and the short time series of satellite data, it is difficult to monitor CO(2) concentrations on reg...
